Palworld v1.0.5 Patch, No Game Data Changes
These are the results of comparing patch v1.0.5, released September 15, 2026 (Steam build 25246127), using the same game data this site runs on. In short, none of the values behind the Paldeck and the calculators changed.
What we compared
We extracted data from the game files before (v1.0.4) and after (v1.0.5) the patch with the same method and compared every entry.
- Stats, work suitabilities, partner skills and wild spawn areas of all 288 Pals
- Power, cooldown and element of all 330 skills
- Effects and values of all 420 passives
- Weight, price, crafting recipes and acquisition routes of all 1,032 items
- Unlock level, point cost and materials of all 588 technology tree entries
- All 258 breeding combinations
- All 122 server settings and the official difficulty presets
The number of changed values across all of the above was zero.
Why we did not take zero at face value
If the extraction tool misreads the structure of new game files, whole tables can come out empty, and that looks exactly like "no changes." This site has run into that once before. So before accepting the v1.0.5 result, we checked two things first.
- That the Pal data table was read in full rather than coming out empty
- That a sample value matches the game (Lamball's HP of 70)
Only after both checks passed did we record "no changes" as the result.
What this means for players
- The changes from v1.0.4 (Wispaw's food stat, the minimum range of five orb-type skills, the Rare and Mutant passives, two fishing baits and two server settings) still apply in v1.0.5. The details are in the v1.0.4 patch summary in the news list.
- Breeding routes, base layouts and skill rankings built on v1.0.4 do not need to be recalculated.
- Changes that do not show up in the data tables, such as bug fixes or stability work in the official patch notes, are outside the scope of this comparison.
Next checks
No build after v1.0.5 had shipped as of October 28. This site checks the Steam build number twice a week, and when a new build appears it runs the same comparison and posts the result here. The version currently reflected is shown in the site footer as "Data as of 2026-09-16 game v1.0.5."
