This is a static reference site with no user accounts. We do not collect or store personally identifiable information such as names or email addresses on our servers.

Some preferences (e.g. your saved Pals in the Tools pages) are stored only in your browser via localStorage and are never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits.

You can manage Google's ad cookies at Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) and opt out of third-party ad cookies at www.aboutads.info.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are actually read. GA4 sets cookies to group visits from the same browser into a session, and collects the pages you view, how long you stay, where you arrived from (a referring site or search engine), your device type and browser, and an approximate location (city level) inferred from your IP address.

No directly identifying information such as your name or email is collected, and the operator only ever sees aggregated statistics in which individual visitors cannot be singled out. The data is stored on Google's servers and Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) applies to it as well.

If you would rather not be measured, install Google's opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or block and clear cookies in your browser. Every feature of this site keeps working either way.
