About the Work Suitability System

What work levels 1–8 mean

A Pal's work level shows how effectively it performs a given task. Level 1 is a minor helper, levels 4 and up make the Pal a specialist and the backbone of that station, and the top tiers of 6–8 are reached only by a select few elite Pals. When two Pals share the same work level, the one with higher work speed processes tasks faster, so always check both values when optimizing your base.

Base Assignment Principles

Always slot the highest-level Pal for each work type first. Pals with large appetites consume food quickly, so build a self-sustaining food supply before filling every station. Nocturnal Pals sleep during the day, so pair them with daytime-active Pals at the same station to eliminate idle hours and maximize round-the-clock productivity.

FAQ

How do I raise a Pal's work level?
Work level is a fixed innate stat — it does not increase through rank-ups or skill edits. You must find or breed a Pal that naturally has a higher level in the work type you need.
How should I use nocturnal Pals?
Nocturnal Pals are inactive during the day and only work at night. Assign them to the same stations as daytime Pals so the station runs continuously, giving you effectively double output over 24 hours.
What is work speed?
Work speed measures how quickly a Pal completes individual task actions. When two Pals have equal work levels, the one with higher work speed finishes each task faster. This tool ranks by level first, then breaks ties with work speed.
